What are the points awarded for:

  • Exact draw (throwing into the house): the player receives points if his stone exactly falls into the house zone, especially in the center (button).
  • Successful takeout (knockout of the opponent's stone): for removing the opponent's stone from the house - additional points.
  • Guard and freeze throws: protective throws that block the opponent or establish a strategic advantage are also evaluated.
  • Winning end: if the player's team wins an end, all its participants receive a bonus.
  • Number of stones in won ends: the more stones the team left in the house, the more points.
  • Player of the Match: If your chosen player shows the best performance, he gets bonus points.
  • Team Captain: The player appointed as captain gets a point multiplier (e.g. ×1.5), so choosing a captain is a key strategic move.

Points deducted:

  • Misses: If a throw fails to perform the task, or the stone goes outside the playing area, a penalty is accrued.
  • Fouls: Violations of the rules (early start, touching the line, untimely execution of the throw) lower the player's rating.
  • Unsuccessful takeouts or guards: If a throw was unsuccessful or resulted in a loss of a stone, points can be deducted.

This system motivates players to closely monitor the form of curlers, choose strategically thought-out combinations and analyze the course of matches. Everything that happens on the ice matters - and this is what makes fantasy curling so exciting and a real contest of mind and intuition.
